Project Overview:
In this Project, I was assigned the brand "Lego" to produce a Topical Ad for social media. I needed to pick a topic like (a news story, current world issue, a movement,etc). Research on Lego is a must to get a better understanding of the brand's history competitors, their audience/target, how the brandtypically uses their social platforms, the brand's tone of voice, etc.

Mandatories for final composition:

• A clear visual that expresses your event + brand/product
• Supporting copy/post copy to your post to help the messaging.
• Must be placed into social post mockup (i.e. Twitter, Instagram)

Event Chosen
On January 5, 2024, Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 experienced a concerning incident when a door plug on its Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft detached mid-air while traveling from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario, California. Thankfully, there were no injuries among the 171 passengers and six crew members, as the adjacent seats were unoccupied. The flight made an emergency return to Portland International Airport, leading to immediate safety inspections of certain Boeing 737 MAX 9 planes by U.S. aviation authorities. The investigation into the cause of the door plug malfunction is ongoing.

Creative Approach

• Imaginative visual strategy featuring an airplane tail from a Boeing 747 MAX 9.
• A bright Lego brick is humorously positioned as a replacement for the door plug.
• Taglines link Lego's creative problem-solving with the door incident.
• Visuals emphasize the contrast between the Lego brick and the airplane's tail, aligning with airline and Lego branding.

Project Overview:
This initiative is a collaboration between a zoo and Longslice Brewery to create a cross-branded lagered ale beer can, with 30% of profits benefiting the zoo. The spent grain from brewing will be donated as animal feed, showcasing a unique blend of marketing and philanthropy.

Target Audience & Benefits:
The primary audience includes adults aged 27-49, with a focus on both zoo-going parents and non-parents. The project offers dual benefits: it provides the zoo with free animal feed and advertising, while customers support a cause dear to them by purchasing the beer.

Deliverables & Content Strategy:
The project requires a comprehensive set of deliverables, including a detailed pitch book, a marketing and pitch deck, promotional posters, and tailored social media content across major platforms. The design will feature both organizations' logos, incorporate animal imagery, and adhere to labeling laws.

Proposed Campaign Focus
The campaign will highlight the partnership's value and the positive impact on the zoo, such as financial support and increased visibility. It aims to address potential needs of the zoo, like attracting specific target markets or solving logistical challenges, through insightful marketing and creative product design.

This rebranding effort encompasses the creation of a new logo to be used for signage, portrait flyers, and social media. The challenge is to craft a cohesive color-led graphic identity that reflects the vibrant culture, architecture, and spirit of Havana, ensuring that the new design resonates with all city stakeholders.

Target Audience:

• Primary Audience: City inhabitants, encompassing all demographics and communities.
• Secondary Audience: City companies and organizations, both local and international.

Creative Strategy:
The strategy for rebranding Havana emphasized its unique style and heritage, aiming to capture the city's essence through its laid-back lifestyle, cultural richness, and iconic landmarks. The rebranding made Havana appealing to both residents and businesses by incorporating La Giraldilla into the logo design, ensuring versatility across multiple platforms. A focus on color management and a comprehensive design process ensured a cohesive and attractive identity.
